Can our cars handle E-10 without modification? My reason for asking is the gas station i frequent posted a notice saying the "fuel may contain 10 percent ethanol". Doesn't that make it E-10 and if so will it damage my fuel lines and other associated parts?
Is this a serious question?

All gas in the US now has 10% ethanol in it. Well, practically all of it.

E-10 is mandatory in all areas with "high pollution Indexes"--big cities, industrial complexes, etc. Some rural areas are exempt--but they are rare--there are 3 stations within 75 miles of Ft Worth that have ethanol free 93 octane--I have 109,000 miles on 10% ethanol with no problems--hope this helps, Maury
