I noticed some grooves wearing into the idler pulley, so i pulled it and found another problem. The bore was wearing out and the bearing was loose. I've read posts about other people replacing this pulley once a year at around $70 a pop. So i decided to make a new one out of stainless. Never have to worry about the pulley again. Just check the bearings every year. I did replace the bearings, but the originals were still good. I store my Marauder in the winter and drive a Ranger. Man, I love driving this car after driving a turd for four months.

Im pretty sure that pulley uses standard double sealed 6203 bearings. The outer shell never wears out, but the stainless piece you have is quite pretty!
