So, I was looking for adventure. With the Tail of the Dragon still closed I decided to run TN HWY 28 (the moonshiners hwy). What a F******* BLAST. You guys have to go down this road. I really put my Nittos to the test. With the OD Off I averaged a speed of 42mph from beginning to end (per GPS). Awesome, but she wanted more so I took her down the CHERHOLLA SKYWAY. Make sure you got a lots of fuel before going on this adventure but it is well worth the cost. Now that I need breaks anybody where I can find a good deal on them?????
Go on www.tailofthedragon.com
Later guys

The Dragon (US129) is probably going to be closed until July due to rockslide.
A great ride is in the area you're referring to, down around Franklin NC and Highlands NC. Several convenient waterfalls and beautiful scenic vistas.
