I to the MM to the track for the first time yesterday, I felt she held her own. It was 40deg. and about a 7mph wind. I ran consistent 14's and my best was 14.40 1/4mi with a .631 raction time @ 98.10mph. When the weather get's better I will return and work on my reaction time and get into the 13's. Here's a few pics of the rear of my MM afterwards. I know I lost atleast 3000~5000mi of tread off my tires. BTW I did'nt powerbrake and I did'nt deflate the tires. :burnout:

Nothing like trying to power these land yachts up in 40* temps! Good times!

I'm sure I will break into the 13's when it warms up Bob!

That's when you need to unbolt your pass front seat and try again!

Same here (3.55 gears), except I ran like 260 14.0x's in a row. Didn't get pizzed though, just kept writing it on my window.

Pretty good times. Half a second is a LOT to gain to get into the 13's - you will need gears or a converter and/or a dyno tune to get there.
I ran (2) back to back 14.02's with no exhaust mods! When its warmer you time may be slower. For every ten degrees colder your car will make 2% more power. Time for some gears.... :)

Still got a few mod on the shelf to install Babbage! A stall is one. But I will keep the 3:55's because when my warranty runs out it's gonna be time to build a centri on the cheap! :burnout:

If you're not hooking up then I would agree that you have 13 second potential. If you are getting traction and running 14s in 40 degree temps, then you'll be disappointed when it gets warmer out.

Traction was definately a problem for me yesterday. It slipped after hitting second gear atleast twice forcing me to back pedal.

You should run the rears at about 28 psi - what did you have in them?

Full tire pressure 38lbs!

The burnout with all season tires is prob the cause of the traction issues more than the temp.

Ouch!! I run 25-28psi and never had traction issues even with stalling or flashing the convertor.

Sounds like your suggesting something sticky RR SUKI!

Nah, I don't see sticky tires being needed NA. All I'm saying is don't do a burnout with all season tires and they'll spin less :D

^^^I was thinking Nitto 555's for the next time! BTW I went around the water box on all runs.

I like em, I used to pull a 1.8 60' with those tires back when I had around 450whp, it's become a bit harder, but I still manage a 1.9 60' now with 520-540 or whatever my whp is now and they are prob 3 years old.
