Hey, I'm sure I'm going to slip up and say something that's already in another forum, but I just got here. I'm 16 and I'm used to driving a 1999 Grand Marquis LS. It's...ok. Handles ok, picks up ok, and the build standard is ok. Got my dad to take me out to the dealership and test drive a Marauder when they first came out in 03'. He thought it was lame and wants an Cobra. I thought it was sweet as hell though, and I'd buy one in a heartbeat. It's a lot nicer then a Marquis (no ****!). Anyways, about the 0-60 times in C/D, 7.5 seconds? No way, mine does 8.5 and has 102 less horses...and has crappy tires and not the same transmisson or any of that. For those of you who have a Marauder, is the steering like a Grand Marquis with all sorts of play in it? Anyways, I'll keep watchin out for good stuff here so I don't have to post stupid questions. Can't wait till I get my Valentine 1! -James

You show remarkable good taste at a young age. First the steering is rack & pinion and is tight and precise, after a break-in period of about 3 to 5k the car loosens up and performs much better than new, don't believe anything C/D printed about this car; if you want facts and figures that are real world true, stick around read and learn.:D

A stock Marauder in 40* weather ran a 14.5 1/4 mile!

Yeah, after watching for a few days, I can believe that!^
Oh, and it isn't only good taste, it's common sense. I'd rather have something that's a million times more practical then a civic and can smoke it, doesn't look like my little sister painted it, doesn't need a coffee can for a muffler, and won't disintegrate if I get hit by an SUV (god forbid).
BTW, any of you guys seen www.innovativeinterceptors.com ? I can't seem to get a reply out of them as to whether I can get just one of those chrome tail pipes...and for how much if I can.

I've never had a problem getting a reply from Wes at Innovative.
It isn't always instant, he's a very busy guy, but he has always replied. If you look in his forum here you'll find the shop phone number posted as well.
Welcome aboard, Woaface. It's good to see young folks out there with as much good sense and good taste as you!
