Got in the Blue Goose (Blue 2003 MM) the other day, started the engine
went to put it in gear....... Locked in Park!
Further investigation revealed that fuses 12, 16 and 22 were blown.
I was able to replace 12 and 16 ... but 22 is a dead short.
No brake lights, turn signals, emergency flashers, brake shift interlock.
Disconected the interlock cable (so I could move the car)
Checked both brake pedel accuated switches, soleniod, and multi-function switch.
Now what? HELP!

Get out your ohm meter and hope it doesnt take you all day to find the problem.

Was it stored anywhere the bulbs could take on water and corrode?

Both Marauders are daily Drivers (66 Mustang and Motorcycles live in the Garage)
I just started driving this one again a couple of days ago it had been sitting since
early November. I was at the bank when it failed, managed to bounce the shifter past the lock-out to get it home. I'll check the tail light harnesses tonight.
Thanks.

I found what appears to be the root of my problem...... 2 years ago I had the dealer find/fix a leaking trunk issue...... After a lot of testing I finally isolated the RR tailight assembly.... BINGO. Upon dissambly I found that the entire harness had been pinched by one of the attaching nut/studs. TRUST NO ONE!!!!
