What do I need to get the car go work N/A again?

I am guessing:

-Stock injectors
-Stock MAF
-Intake
-Stock belt
-New tune

Am I missing anything?

I'll have to do this alone so please give me as many tips and tricks as possible.

BTW how difficult is it to remove the fuel injectors and replace them? Simple as spark plugs?

Thank you in advance.

You don't have to change injectors or MAF (assuming you have a MAF instead of just one of the '05+ sensors mounted in the elbow).

Belt, JLT or K&N CAI, tune.

Oh, and you'll have to do something with the PCV system.

The blower has been spoken for.

Brian, what are you speaking of? PCV is the piping for the blower right?

Pollution Control Valve (correction: Positive Crankcase Ventilation). The PCV system is normally re-routed on the centrifugal blower equipped cars. You may not have the PCV valve and tubing any more for re-connecting it the way it normally connects, from the passenger side valve coveer to the intake manifold. The other side should be simple enough, it connects from the intake tube to the driver side valve cover and is only a hose with no PCV valve in it.

I may have one laying around. I'll try to help you figure it out, but sometimes it's hard to do remotely.

What's up?
One week you're going to London for a gig and selling the blower, the next week you're loving the power and can't part with it, now this week it's coming off again? Bing-bing-bing like a pinball machine. Settle down and think things through before doing anything you may regret.

 Hey, are you sure about that or is it "positive crankcase ventilation" PCV valve.

What's going on???

Motorhead350

How do I deal with the tune? Do I really need to get dyno tuned or can I "Set Car To Stock"? I think that might be a problem since I have headers.

Sell the headers? Sounds like your not gonna need the DR's anymore either. Just run something from Zack for your tune? Or are you guys not talking now?

You may need a custom tune to deal with the upgraded fuel pump. If you want to return to the stock tune, scratch what I said about keeping the upgraded injectors and MAF, too. Those have to be compensated for in the tune so if you want a stock tune you need to swap those back to stockers. The headers may be ok, not sure. Do you still have the rear O2 sensors connected? And the EGR valve? If not, the stock tune is going to turn on the CEL.

I plan on keeping the GT fuel pump, putting back the stock injectors, MAF, intake, belt and setting the computer back to stock. Will this be alright?

Maybe. It's possible that fuel pressure will have spikes and cause a CEL, I'm not sure. I know when I switched from dual Cobra pumps to dual GT pumps my fuel pressure was very erratic until the tune was modified to compensate for the new higher flow fuel pumps. But you've got a single pump so you may be ok.

Dom;

In the blower conversion were pully's changed? If so do you still have the stock ones?

Also reworking the oil system modifications.

Not sure if intercooling piping removal will affect anything.

Relocation of cooling system components for the mod shouldn't have to undone.

Still going to London?

Yup still going to London. I'm going to make a guard laugh by telling him my life story.

As of now I am leaving the car alone. I keep going back and forth on this. My driving reason to sell the blower was because I'm in need of funds, but I always seem to find a way to get by.

Now I know what to do if it truely comes to that. Thanks for all the help guys as always. Soon as I have income again, you can all bet I will have my flags again. :banana2:

1.) If you need money then sell the MM intact and let someone enjoy the ride. It is cruel and unusual punishment to remove a SC from a MM. It will hurt the car's spirit.

2.) I don't blame Zack for refusing to remove the SC - good for him.

3.) Do a balance sheet on the costs on removing the blower and all the adjustments and changes you will need to do. Your net gain will not be that much for the time and effort involved.

4.) You will post a least 500 posts about wishing you had not removed the blower and why didn't we try and stop you.

DON'T DO IT.

Ummmm Glenn, Zack removed the blower for me last year I was driving N/A for a few weeks. It was no biggie and almost as fun thanks to the 3500 stall TC. Plus my gas mileage was better... not that I cared at the time, but today it's important, at least until I find income.

The car isn't my life, but it's an important part of it.

Zack would do it if I just hadn't burnt him out and I don't blame him. I don't think anything less of him, not for a second.

Keep up your indomitable spirit Dom.
