i went to the track tonite with 3/4 of a tank, filled it up with race gas.
lower the tire psi to 24psi, unloaded everything outa the car.
tonite it has been in the mid 60 degrees at the track.
first run ( i lost the timeslip) but do remember
on the 93 octane tune:
60' 2.4. 1/4 13.01 @ 107mph i did not go WOT till 2nd gear.
second run was the 12.5 at 111.85mph i went WOT from 25mph and up. no spin on the tires. it chirped 2nd tho
third run was the 12.27@ 111.90mph i went WOT from 15mph and up no spin on the tires. it chirped 2nd again.

street tires 285/50/18 toyo proxes. gotta love them
I ran 12.2 with bald nittos.
Those are great times!

Great times!!...Next time get there with a 1/4 tank of gas and put 5gal of race gas you will go even faster :D

I just spoke to Landy this is a GREAT # on street tires with a set of M/T he will run consistant mid 11's, cogradulations on the great times

Yes, but our season is closing. Soon it will be 85 degree evenings in SFL.

From your MPH it is obvious your 1-2 and 2-3 shifts are set WAAAYYYY too low.
1-2 should happen at 6500 and 2-3 should be 6600-6700

The Vortech Kit has the Air cleaner in the same general place as a Trilogy so he would benefit from this.

hopefully by the fall i have the OEM 31spline and diff.then some slicks or DR.
but remember you mph shows potential.

you should break te 13's on cool weather, i believe the headlight out would give you those results.

To go from 12.0 to 11.8 is light years difference. You'll see! You'll need at least 480 HP, but a 50 HP shot will do it.

When I asked Landy, he told me his shifts were right at 6000 RPM where they should be with a stock motor.

my fastest is in the time slips of 12.5x at 113. had zero traction off the line. 60foot was 2.0x

yes that was my first time at the track with that car.
those are the best street tires i have ever had. i will buy them again.
i honestly think, i only have room for maybe two tenths if a load it then floor the car out the gate. offcourse with slicks
