Yes you will gain a easy 20 RWHP plus firmer shifts better gas millage the top speed limiter will be raised, it is the best investemt you can make.

IF you're asking if you can take the car up to top speed without problems, yeah, you should be able to do that with or without a tune, if your car is healthy.


Just go get the car tuned and see how happy you'll be :)

You indicated you wanted to use an SCT tunner to change the top speed of the car if I am understanding you correctly with the question.

The stock drive shaft may or may not create a problem for you at higher prolonged speeds.

Always check the tail shaft of your transmission to see if it is leaking after high speed runs if you change the max speed the car is set for.

If you have 3.55 stock gears doing 200 kph which is 124.28 MPH to us maybe okay MAYBE as long as it is not maintained for long periods of time!!!

If you have lets say 4.10 gears I would say no way is it a good idea!

The drive shaft can create a vibration not always heard or felt that can damge the tail end of your transmission and the first sign is the tail shaft leaking tranny fluid that is why I said look for any leaks at the back of the tranny after running @ high speeds.
