Just picked up my MM from the body shop.
They repainted and clear-coated my spoiler. A word of advice from anyone adding aftermarket spoiler: order the primed spoiler. The paint job on painted units is substandard.
After I dropped the car off yesterday, I had a panic attack. I didn't want the spoiler to be installed wrong, like a couple of people on here have.... And the pictorial installation instructions that Ford has really suck. So I called the body shop, and walked the manager through the MM.net site so he could see what it is supposed to look like. He appreciated that, as they weren't sure about how the spoiler was supposed to be installed (Thank you Zack for having some great pictures!! I chose your pictures because after meeting you, I knew yours would be right!!).
The body shop I went to is also a Hyundai dealer (they have done a few projects for me, and are the best in my area). No one there had ever seen a Marauder. The body shop guys absolutely drooled over the car. When it was sitting in the lot, a couple of customers inquired about purchasing it. So did one of the salesmen...
They also took care of a major scratch I put on the deck lid. The body shop manager also commented on the overall paint job........He echoed everything we have been saying all along. He wants me to bring the car back next spring to have it detailed, he thinks that a VERY careful buffing will improve things immensely. I'll think it over...This guy has repaired two major accidents for me, as well as fixing a hack paint job I got on my Mustang, so I put a lot of trust in what he thinks...
And my winter snow tire package arrived today!! Can life get any better??????
