I think I'm the only person here who ever goes.

Regardless...if anyone is free/bored on Saturday, come on out for test 'n' tune from 10am-5pm.

Do they have a middle of the week special? If so I'll join ya.

EDIT: Just noticed it's not open until the following saturday. Dang!

Ya I can't make the third silly. I was looking for another date when I would be near you. Nothing works.

Bump.

Seriously.

Nobody in the greater Cleveland area wants to spend a gorgeous spring Saturday at the strip, even just to watch some cars?

Sad, sad, sad. :alone:

For those who didn't/couldn't attend, it was a great day. Weatherwise, I wouldn't ask for much else except maybe a little less wind, because everyone was having issues fighting the 30mph gusts. Management-wise, I would have liked a little less selective policing. '78ish Chevy Malibu that looked like it was pulled out of a field the day before - covered in mud and rust and with dry-rotted tires was allowed to run without question. Every time he did a burnout, it took the track crew 5 minutes to clean up the burnout box/staging. Then he'd litter the track with rocks and dirt. However, apparently a very small amount of dirt on my rear tires (from the kart track next door) was problematic and I got into an argument with one of the employees in the staging lane (pictured below).

I did notice that the Malibu did not run after I bitched about it, so maybe they parked him.

Met another Marauderer with a very sharp and clean EARLY car (#20, I think) - no paint issues at 56k miles.

Lady I work with's son was running over at the kart track. He and his dad came over and apparently took a few shots, and she brought me a CD of them this morning. They were most interested in the VW van (pictured below) and the fire truck Studebaker (not pictured below). They got some of my 2nd-to-last run.

This thing was sick as hell.

This is the beginning of the argument that ensued over the tiny amount of dirt on my rear tires. Do you see anything wrong here? Jeez.
