Is 13800 to much for 2003 silver birch with 31000 miles ?
I dunno, does it have a motor?
I know, it's not funny, but what are we to think?
No description of the car's condition exterior, interior, service records, storeage, modifications and above all, pictures.
Assuming it's in excellent condition, no mod's, and service has been done then 13.8K
is just a little high if buying from a dealer. Blue Book recommends $12.6K if it's in excellent condition.
If your buying from a private party then $9.8 is KBB's recommendation.
But that's at my ZIP code.
Check the wipers and headlight operation.
When buying a used car check brake pads (visual), motor oil and trannys oil (for color and smell). At that mileage it's due for a fuel filter change and transmission oil change. Maybe the seller will do these things, do not just take his word.
That may cause him to lower the price a few hundred.
Good luck.........

I already have a dark blue pearl im looking to buy another .Its a private owner no mods and mint needs nothing, just trying to get some help before I buy it thanks.
It's seems to be common that folks who want to sell their cars expect dealer prices. I'm wondering how the seller arrived at the 13.8K figure?
You have negotiating room and being "mint" is a plus (for the seller).
Now, how much do you want it and are there other offers on the table.
Having two Marauders would drive me into defoliation LOL.

they wanted 15k
Be sure to get the vin and have someone run a Carfax for you.
Ya know, do a quick check on the "for sale" forum, here and on Motorcity Marauders.com and see what owners are (were) asking. You may have done that already. Look at the mods too.

If everything checks out, it sounds like a good deal for a very limited car in an even more limited color. If you purchase it, you are invited to become a member of the Silver Birch Society. Welcome!!

Slick Rick, if you sell me your blue one, you could easily get the silver one!

Sounds reasonable if the car is in mint condition.

If it is clean and the car fax is clean, I wouldn't think twice about buying it!

Thanks guys, im going to look at it today.
That's a pretty low mileage car in a nice color... "seems" a bit on the high side but its not like you can shop it around, if I had the money I'd prolly grab it.

It's worth whatever you are willing to pay for it.

I would have no issue paying 13,800 for the right car.
