The floor mats from Custom Auto Accessories came in last night.
Here are comparison photos.

As you can observe the drivers side is not quite a proper fit. It does make a difference in the the way
it lays. Not good. I haven't driven the car with the mats yet.

I'm going to send these photos to the company for their review.

:alone::shake: they need to go back to the drawing board with the measurments, i'm sure more of us would be willing to purchace mats if they were closer to OEM specifications...by the way i like the red stitching around the edges, nice touch

Years ago I bought custom floor mats for my Mustang GT, very similar to those that you bought Pat. (Dark charcoal grey with red 'GT' logos)
I actually sent the company a set of cardboard templates that I cut to fit my car exactly.
They made a perfect set based on my templates!
I'll see if I can find the name of the company that made them for me.

Those are nice looking mats!...hope they end up fitting properly.

Do they offer a choice of fonts?

That's a shame, I was looking to buy a set too, but want a good fit.

OK, I'll try and answer your questions. The Mat's are excellent quality and can come in any edge color or font. Cost is $129.00. I believe shipping was free.

The exact Marauder replica is available but must be special ordered through customer service. The website doesn't say that and leads you to believe you are getting a Marauder floor mat if you follow the yellow brick road in selecting car/model.

I really don't know what car these mats were made for. I have a Grand Marquis and the floor mats are the same shape as my Marauder, so is my CV patrol car.

I talked to the president of CCA and sent him comparison photos and photos of the mats installed. He's said the mats were made from templates of our cars. Well, something is askew.

Now I don't know why their web site lists Marauder and after selecting all the options I get a drivers side mat that isn't quite right. The passenger side is OK.

He offered me a return and he would send the replica mats. I declined because I wanted to have good mats for Louisville.

So if you want replica mats send an email to Sales@customautoaccessories.co m

or talk to the man himself, Mr. Rich Van' Hof. He's very willing to help. He has sold several hundred replica mats to members of this site. Rich@customautoaccessories.com

At the risk of getting flamed, Im assuming there are no more OEMs available? I got an extra set from Ray the Dealer a few years ago but assumed they would be around for a while.

The red stitching on the interior of a black car is a bit much. IMHO.

Send him some new templates and tell them to update their patterns. If we could get proper floormats in our choice of colors with custom embroidery, that would be awesome! I contemplated going with that very brand, but wasn't sure how they would fit, so I didn't.

Based on the wider width I'd guess maybe their templates fit the old generation Marauders rather than the 03 04 generation ?

Done and done. But not sure if it will become a reality. Best to special order and talk to the man.

The mats are excellent and there are plenty of options.

I keep one set of "Original" fronts for car shows... I purchased a set of mats from "Quality Car Mats" for daily use and they are a dead on match to the originals size and fit wise...even hole for little floor anchor pin...(no embroidery) and not as heavy weight although a heaver weight is available.... they were approximately $85.00 for front and rears. They will even send you carpet samples free... that pretty darn cheap...:D

Well, I have ordered the floor mats after seeing Silverback's. Surprisingly he did not have a standard setup for them so you get to completely customize them. I ordered with the Red edging and Marauder stitching and Mercury emblem. I will be displaying them at Carlisle.
