I saw this on another forum, Just checking to see if you guys are as insane as me.

For the interior...
No smoking! Rolling down the window is unacceptable, I dont care if the door is missing, No smoking!
No eating the in the car at all. Bottled water is fine as long as it remains in the bottle.
No feet on my dash or off the floor mat.
No people over 300lbs in my seats. Lately its been a no-passenger rule except for family and the GF.
Radio is off limits to change stations.
Windows will be locked during bad weather if my car ever see's bad weather.
No wet clothing. Take your jacket off and put it in the trunk.
Gas is unacceptable unless its in my tank.
No kids. They pull things apart and think the back seat is their play ground.

For the exterior...
I open the door for people so they dont get their finger prints all over the door or window.
No door slamming.
No leaning on the car
No asking to lean against the car
No touching under the hood. All that aluminum is a PITA when it comes to keeping it polished.
No washing or wiping my car. I pride myself in zero swirls or imperfections, I dont need anything added.
No running your hand down to see how smooth it is. I have 15 coats of wax on it and endless amounts of clay barring so I can assure you its as smooth as it can possibly be.

Geeze Paul, you're gonna hate me.

1. Eat whatever as long as it doesn't leave a stain if dropped.
2. Drinks are fine as long as they have lids.
3. If you make a mess, clean it up.
4. Garbage goes in the cup holder and will be disposed of when we reach the destination.
5. All cargo stays in the trunk unless it's a jacket or book of CDs
6. NEVER slam the door no matter how much I piss you off. :P
7. Smoking is allowed if asked.
8. Never turn off my radio. I nearly flipped out on my roomate over that last summer.
9. Keep as many quarters in the car as possible.
10. I'm the only one that pulls out the P.A.

I think that's it.

I agree with Zack, normal everyday stuff sans smoking is ok with me. It's not a shrine. But to each his own.

Smoking is fine.
No eating, unless your name is Peyton and are less than 3 years old.
Drinking is fine, just bring your trash with you.
All controls not meant for the driver are to the right of the radio.
Put your junk in the trunk.
The painted surfaces are not chairs/ leaning posts. If you're tired, open the door and sit in a chair.
Feet belong on a carpeted surface.
Refrain from screaming in corners, or at speed, I know the car's and my capabilities.

Do not slam the doors.

No feet on the dash.

Seat belts ARE A MUST it's the LAW

If you lay down in the back for a long drive shoe's come off.

No one uses the cigarett lighter nor the ash tray.

No leaning on the car nor sitting on any part of it.

No resting bags or box's on the rear bumper cover while opening the trunk or closing it putting stuff in and out of it.

And for Pete's sake put my seat back to where you found it in the first place.

The dog's are not allowed in it without a quilt being used to cover the entire back seat.

If you hit a curb with a rim you can never drive the car again EVER!

Leave the change alone it is for emergency's only both in the ash tray and the center counsol.

No Drugs other than perscription and no booze it's my license and car that will be pulled and towed as well as arrested.

I'm not that strict but I rarely have passengers.

1) No smoking in or right by the car if the windows are down. That includes upwind of it.

2) Knock the crud of your shoes before you get in and keep your feet on the floor. Dont scrunch up my floormats either, that bugs me.:mad2:

3) No leaning on the paint.

4) No belts with metal bits or chain wallets. Scratched leather=slow painful death for you. No "crashing" into the seat, just sit down and don't slam the door.

5) Don't touch the thermostat. If your cold, use the heated seats.

6) Asking me to drive down gravel is about as effective as asking your grandma to cut off her thumbs.

Actually that's alot more rules than I realized I had, I guess I am one of "those guys." So be it...

1. Throw your chicken bones out the window.
2. No one over 250 lbs.

5. Scientologists go in the trunk.

No drugs or alcohol
Please atleast try and wipe your feet, but crap happens
No ashtray, ever.
no pets
Touch whatever, I really could care less anymore.
If you eat, you must share.

Outside:

DO NOT EVEN THINK about touching, leaning, or sitting on it. It is not a wall, a chair, a bed, or a hang out center.
If you are a kid under the age of 10, I WILL OPEN YOUR DOOR!

My car is very rarelly dirty, extremely well kept, in and out, and this is after 6 years of ownership. My car looks good, smells good, and runs even better.

Younz got me thinkin':
No smoking. I don't care if there are cigarette burns from the 1st owner on the carpet. The answer is NO!
The dash is not there to put your feet up. If you have them up there and the passenger side air bag activates, you'll have no feet letalone anything below the knees after that.
Do not slam my doors. If you do and something breaks, You will be paying for it to be repaired.
Leave the windows alone. They are cracked open for a reason.
Do not lean on my MM or ask to do so.
Only caged pets allowed. Leave the hamster at home.

You are, however, allowed to adjust the seat your liking.

And remember to do this: Get in, Sit down, SHUT UP, And Hold on.

Do not complain about my driving. If you do, I will either argue with you about it or let you out in the middle of nowhere. The choice is yours.

Food is fine, drop a fry in a hard to get place, you will take the car apart until you find it, or buy me a new Mustang

Don't call me Mustang Sally, my brother did that once...Once
And lastly, don't ding the outside with anything or else.. you guessed it, your buying me a new Mustang.
Considering it is time to move up to the 2011, I invite all to break the rules, because I need a new Mustang

Yeah, I used it everyday and started modding the car, that's when I felt it was insane driving a car that I started putting money into back and forth to work.
The area I work in is rough on a car so when I decided that I wanted to keep it for as long as possible, I took it off the road and bought a beater car.
I still drive the car whenever I get a chance, but its for fun not for work or reason.

No open containers. You can drink coffee, water, whiskey, whatever, as long as you can cap it. I'm not leaving a light like granny moses just because you have an open can or bottle.

Right on Zack.

G-kids all over the place, holding the GPS and telling me how much over the speed limit I'm going. 10 cents a pop, stop signs and turn signals ditto. Even a seat belt flub up from time to time.
I can't get out of the neighborhood until it costs me 60 cents.

Food, orange drink for the little one, they have the SIRRUS remote, channel 11 or 81. Booster chairs, tires, gasoline, anything except a load of dirt. Gotta draw the line somewhere. LOL

justbob

The first two years I owned it, it spent five days a week off road, mud, snow, ruts, didn't matter, the job is what paid for the car.

Countless amounts of food and beverages have been spilled in it.

It has pulled an E350 work van out of a ditch twice.

Farted in constantly.

Smoked in (window always down, I hate the smell too)

Baby diaper smells.

Baby throw up.

Trunk: gas, weedwacker, blower, used oil, TV, bike, bags of dirt, bags of salt, yada yada yada....

I actually strip the interior at MINIMUM once a year, not really needed at all, but for sake of mind. This is a car for a family for five, and I intend to keep it that way and enjoy it, while allways maintaining to the highest levels. Ask anyone that has been in my car, it is in perfect, and will remain that way.

1) No smoking- absolutely no exceptions.

2) No chewing tobacco- this didn't use to be a rule until one of my drunk buddies spilled his spit can all over the carpet. I wound up cleaning it up because he didn't even know his own name. I was repaid some beer for his transgression, however.

3) No road beers- should be self explanatory but I have a few idiot friends

4) Don't wipe your greasy hands in the leather after a run to McD's

5) Don't change the song- You'll listen to Merle Haggard or Van Halen and you'll like it!

Yes my wife accepts this...She doesn't understand but knows thats how it is.
Close the door from outside by using one finger only in the lock button on the drivers side or by the weather strip at the bottom of the window.

Inside, No smoking.
There is enough Zainos on my seats to repel a nuclear attack but still only water or other non sugared drinks inside and they must have a lid. Snacks will consist of dry trail mixes or possibly dry jerky without my favorite habanero pepper seeds all over it.
Yes, I have Weathertech floor mats so please knock off the loose stuff from your shoes before placing your feet directly on the mats. If your feet must leave the mats please make sure your shoes stay firmly on the mats.
Don't touch the windows, you can roll them down although preferably all of them only.
Feel free and try and operate the stereo, the manual is in the glovebox! ALthough you can only use the iPod. I hope you like alternative, punk, grunge or the likes or you are S.O.L.

No smoking.
No muddy feet.
Towels under the car seats to preserve the leather.
Don't leave trash in my car.
Don't leave hair brushes, lip gloss, or anything else like that in the car.
No boost until operating temp is reached.
Don't mess with my seat and mirrors too bad. (I wish these cars had memory seating so bad.)

Don't slam the effin doors.

Don't slam the effin trunk.

Don't slam the effin glovebox.

Don't slam the effin console.

Don't slam the effin hood.

Screw top bottles ONLY unless you are married to me. When you help me make the car payments like she does, you may drink out of whatever type container you wish.

No smoking unless you are being dragged behind the car by a hundred foot length of rope. You can drink your coffee out of an open styrofoam cup using this method of transport also.

No illegal substances in the car. If your substances get my vehicle confiscated, I will confiscate some of your appendages and organs and return them when the PD returns my car to me.

Make sure you call LoJack if you take the car while I am sleeping so I don't have to go to the State Police again to get you and the car back home!

But I think that was a one time mistake that will never happen again.
No one else has driven her since that day
