I like the look of the JBA Mid-length headers actually now. Best of both worlds - probably a bit quieter than LT's - custom down pipes are the only downer + egr
Anyway congrats Brian - I hope they work out well for you.
Post up some pics etc when you can..

Ugg, I can't now! I have spent way too much lately. Upside is I have a whole new rear end.. Axels, bearings, seals, carrier + bearings + gear oild + ebrake assy X2
4 brand new tires + alignment + proguard etc 2 weeks ago
I do want those (someday) Post em up for someone here..

Not yet, syill gathering parts. I did pick up a set of Mach1 BBK off road cat delete pipes from a vendor at the swap meet yesterday. $50-NIB, 2.5" Let the engineering begin!

Spray everything down with penetrating grease and let it soak for 30min, then remove the hardware.

it always amazes me that most of the population can't get it into their heads to soak everything down the night before a big operation like headers...are we that short sighted in the states now or am I just that old.

i never soak anything in snake oil. that stuff has never worked for me. i only use it once i get it broke free and srapy it on so as the remaining threads are easier to undo

PB Blaster works good...soak it and stuff comes apart...i don't think it works as great on aluminum so in the aircraft part of your life i don't think it has a place.
Racerx I knew I should have let that chisel slip when you where close at hand...don't you have some girley soldering to do somewhere ;p

Have Sawzall, will conquer......... just takin' my time folks. it's 10 hr days and a big dose of Paranoia(something like that) also trying to locate some chrome header bolts. May have to go to my local Rice burner dealer.

:D I never did post all the pics! You drowned rat you! I was nice enough to throw that sausage that rolled off of Mike's grill in the can when I was workin the grill. I didn't want to go through the brain cells to make up a story as to why your doggy was crunchy and your fillings were coming out! :beer:
P.S. I think you'll like the project on my MM that is in the works... just takes time!
