Ive seen issues on chevrolet trucks quite a bit, with the "sagging drivers door" usually remedied with a new pin sleeve in the door hinge..
curious if anyone experienced this, and what action was taken.. new hinge? just a sleeve?
thanks!

I'm wondering the same thing. I have this issue too.
I was told we need to replace the hinge, but I wanna hear it from someone who knows these cars.
Anyone know?

Rock auto shows door hinge kits up to '99 on Crown vics, but nothing after. At $1.73 each, it's a cheap guess.

Yeah the link won't work. I started at 2003, but no listings. I found it finally under 99 Crown Victoria/ body Exterior/ door hinge pin and bushing kit.

I thought most all exterior body parts were the same 98 and up. I've been wrong before.

Hinge sag has been a problem since 1992. I would replace that along with the striker.

Does your door drop down when you open it? Can you grab the door when it is open and moveit up and down on the hinges?
If no is the answer chances are someone slamed it shut at one point and moved the pin it catches with the latch.
This will wear out the hinge bushings eventualy as well from the extra pressure put on them.

I had an '81 Z-28, I used to have to jack up the driver side door with a 2x4 every now and then when it started to sag. Hope this helps. Thanks, now I miss my car.:(
