Moving Violations

Not that I am trying to point out anyone guilty of the offense...
but does anyone know what the fine is for running a red light in Yonkers ???
My wife's co-worker got caught near the Cross County mall,
and she says she doesn't have the time to go to the courthouse,
so she is just going to mail in the ticket and plead guilty.
She is going to get hit with 2 points, so I told her to make sure
she takes a defensive driving course ASAP so it won't affect her insurance.
I tried to google the moving violation but it doesn't come up with any info...

Not sure about there, but here in Chicago it's $90 per red light.

$175 outside of NY city for the first offence. It goes up $100 each one after.
In NYC, if you give the cop a hard time, he can right you up for a different code that doubles the fine for the first offence.

Its in the NYS VTL which I do not have a copy of at home. Was this a camera ticket?

How red was the light? When I lived out on the Island, red meant 2 more cars can make it. ;)

It was not a camera ticket.
It was a traffic stop and the light was BLOOD RED.....
