:help: now i know im supposed to check the tranny with the car ..on ..hot..and in park and i did and the tranny oil level was at the 1st hole from the bottom then i cut the engine off and checked and it read full what do i is it ok or do i add more?:help:

Yes the level will drop a bit while it is running this is why they have you check it @ that time vs when it is off.
I would add a bit just to make sure it is full while it is running just do not over fill.
How did the fluid look was it a nice pink color did it smell burnt seeing you were looking @ it anyways?

it was still pink i just had it servised last summer and i do have the deeper tranny pan if that makes a difference

The dip stick only goes in so far so deep or not it will read the same.
Good deal on keeping it serviced though most forget to do it!

Don't even bother to read it with the engine off.
With the car level, idling in Park, and the fluid warmed up, if the level reads anywhere in the crosshatched area, you're good.
