Well I finally finished up my exhaust yesterday..I went with stainless ceramic coated JBA's, Bassani x-pipe, Flow Super 44's, Mandrel bent stainless tailpipes and stock tips..The car souds how I wanted it to, it's quiet at idle and cruising speeds up until you open it up..Even then its still not that loud..Didn't want crazy loud with this car..I'm happy with it, and to top it off theres no drone:rock: yet....Mufflers are still new..I think, I should be ok..The tips arent even past the bumpers.. I had to get the x-pipe fabbed and so I had my friend do some of the work that I wasn't able to do(he owns a muff shop)..I told him to put the tips out past the bumpers but he sucks..unfortunately I don't have pics yet...The headers weren't that much of a pain to install, I shimmed both motor mounts and modified the steering shaft...The x-pipe didn't line as far as, the down pipes they were too short going down wards and hitting the trans crossmember and the pipes were too narrow. So they were angled down and moved farther away from eachother...As far as quality. The job is good, other than the downpipes in my eyes. I want to get the downpipes redone and idk why but he put the hangers for the mufflers on the bottom of the mufflers..I used the factory inlet/outlet muffler offsets, not sure what most of you guys used. When I took the car up to MBS they said their tailpipes would'nt work with the mufflers I got. I was willing to get different ones but my exhaust man got them to work.....But thats one Mod done..Next week is Eaton swap time....

Just curious why no one is using the Magnaflow hi-flow X-pipe with 2 CATS with the JBA shorties.

IDK Glenn. For me I went with the Prochamber to get the best of both worlds H and X, I got an uncatted one so the extra 4" to get past the transmission was easy by adding a set of Magnaflow high flow cats. = Less modification

I looked into getting the magnaflow x pipe...it was a lil costly for me at the time... I got the bassani pipe for a good price...I was going to just get the whole exhaust fabbed up from front to back...But things done changed

Looks like the pipes aren't aligned with each other from one side to mirror the other side and the bend on the cat to x-pipe looks pretty harsh. As long as it sounds good to you.

Make sure you get a dyno tune soon to smooth out your AFR and get more out of your new exhaust system.
