Shifter changeover

Has anyone ever changed there shifter to an aftermarket one? say like a hurst quarter stick i think would look cool. & of course would provide lockouts between gears. ive searched our site but dont see anything like that. ive searched the web and dont see a shift gate
for our transmissions. I can say from experience it wouldnt be that hard
to make the shift gate. just wondering if anyone has done something like this.

shifting the tans manually is a bad plan anyway, so there is really no point, unless you just want to change how it looks. In that case it isn't hard to do

mostly for looks but i dont race the car but i do like to wind it thru the gears now and then and i would prefer to manually shift it.

manually shifting it is a bad plan, the car will shift slower and it can cause damage. If you want looks just change the shift knob

is it the electronics in the trans that makes it less responsive to manual shifting because every none electronic trans is better manually shifted under WOT.
