Has anyone had an Air Suspension Problem. My Marauder is sitting Lower than normal. When I shut it off the Air Suspension dash light comes on and when I turn it on it goes off. The problem is that it doesnt reset it self. Is there a reset button.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Does it stay at the height or does it sink if you leave it parked for a while? When did this lowered stance start?

Did you have someone get into the trunk and see if the compressor turns on?

No i'll check fuses in the morning
But the question is why did it blow out if it did?
it must have been working a lot when the 16's were on the car to keep the ride hight set.

^ yes
OP, if you have a small leak in the bags, eventually it tends to get bad enough to where the compressor can't keep the bags inflated even on steady-on. At that point after a while it quits and trips the Air Suspension light in the dash.
It is a cheap fix any way you look at it so long as your compressor is still OK and hasn't been burned out. Personally, I chose to replace the air bags with heavy duty coil springs and shut off the air suspension altogether, gives a nice stiff ride in the back plus it holds an upright stance very well even with weight in the back. I'm personally a fan of the Gasser look too, so it's kinda neat to have the rear end haunched up like that. ;)

sometimes in the middle of the night the compresser kicks on and fills the bags anyway LOL it' weird... oh well.

Do you guys notice your bags releasing air when you get out of the car?
Almost everytime I shut the car off and get out, it dumps some air, then has to pump itself back up when I start up again.
Seems like a lot of wear and tear on the pump to me.

I bet it is your pump. I had to have mine replaced.

i noticed mine's been tunring on when the car is just sitting there in my driveway. i was workin on the stang and i heard the compreser fire up and run for about 30 secs then turn off. is it suppose to turn on when u havnt touched it all day? i thought it only would turn on if you opened and shut the drivers door?

Yes, it kicks on when the car is off. I guess it is constantly self leveling! Doesn't draw enough power to be an issue with the battery though. The bags also deflate to the level they are set at when you get out of the car and shut the door

Open up the trunk to take things out or put in and it lowers it's self down thinking it would make it easier for you to do anything.
Once you close the trunk up it goes again.
I have to admit I do not miss that with the Marauder.

Mine's never done that. Not sure I'd like it running randomly on it's own!

ive noticed, when i adjusted the ride height to be a little higher in the back.. the deflation when the car is turned off, and in the driveway stopped..
i guess when a little raised, the shocks dont try and push up on them, since they are a tad bit more extended then normal.
but, in any light, ive thought about changing to a coil setup... but i remember, i packed my trunk with a weeks full of camping equipment, (sleeping bags and light stuff all went in a different car... i got screwed with the heavy stuff) such as a propane grill... cooler full of ice with water and beer(of course.. whats camping without drinking!) and wood for a bonfire... and other heavy things.... you name it.. we had it.
when loaded up... my rear end looked BUSTED... and took a few minutes to pump up those badboys... to correct drive height.
and was hilarious, when heading up the florida turnpike.. i got cutoff HARD CORE by this honda.. (was doing 90 at the time) and my rear end must have fully cleared and hit the high bumpers due to all the weight. and when letting the brake off, the rear end fell back down... quite fast... i swear those bags were going to pop like balloons.... but no.... its 100%.
but blah blah blah... in the end.. adjust the ride height a little higher.. (within reason of course... mine was sitting a little low after adding bigger rear tires) and maybe that will solve your chronic pump action..
but, if you have a leak, like stated before.... i would replace the entire system. pumps and both bags... personally.
