Went to my local Advance Auto today (4/10/2010) and they had Motorcraft 5W-20 "FULL SYNTHETIC" for $3.99/qt. It was less than the synthetic blend. Just an FYI for those who use Motorcraft.

Our FLAPS have had that for about 8 months.
Good find!

I think I pay less per qt at auto zone for mobil 1 synthetic. I get the 5 qt containers.

The Mobil 1 FULL SYNTHETIC at Wally World is over $21.00 for the 5 quart container.

Yep, I've been getting all my oil from Wal-Mart for the past almost 2 years. Mobil 1 5W-20 at my local Wal-Mart's has been about $22.10 for a 5 quart jug.
^^^^^^Same here that's all I use Mobil 1, everyone keeps telling me to switch to Royal Purple but not sure of what difference is. Didn't know Motorcraft FullSyn sold in stores. Good price too.

I used Royal Purple until it became more costly than Mobil 1 per quart.

everyone keeps telling me to switch to Royal Purple but not sure of what difference is.Do they tell you why?
In terms of real-world performance, there is no difference. Both are excellent oils; RP is not "better" than M1, and neither one is "better" than Pennzoil Platinum...or Valvoline Synpower...or Castrol Syntec...or whatever Quaker State calls their synthetic this week. ALL of those oils are excellent and will give you superior service.
