Pulled the calipers off for a blasting and some gloss black engine enamel. I failed to properly ensure the lines were pinched off over night. Got air in the HCU. Alexander Ford in Yuma, AZ wanted $118 to bleed the system with their IDS. Alexander Ford was fine. Seemingly friendly, honest, and concerned for the well being of my vehicle. Plus, their service dept. is open full hours on Saturday. It could have been worse, like, say at Tony Betten Lincoln Mercury, in Muskegon, Michigan. Ask me later for a full libel and slander of said business and multiple litigations. Anyway, I installed TCE's SS lines and the braking action is noticably better. Good pedal pressure throughout its range at all speeds. The kit was $155 for lines and all hardware. Looks sharp and the install was insignificant. Simple upgrade, ensure lines are secured if left overnight to prevent air from getting to the HCU. It absolutely requires the IDS scan tool to cycle the solenoids.

Where did you order the parts? My brakes suck and I been meaning to do this upgrade for a while. Ill also need to find a dealer in my area to do the full bleed.

+1 TCE SS lines FTW! Just take your time to get the lines properly adjusted for the right bend to keep them out of the way of moving parts.
