Dude! I just watched my Tivo'ed episode of trucks from last Saturday and they were putting a MARAUDER engine(from a totalled car) into a Mazda pickup! Can I please get some funeral music for this sad but true fact.

I dont know whether to smile that the Mercury Marauder name was said like 10-15 times during the show or cry that it was being put in a truck...at least its a Ford family truck.....dang, it still feels wrong. Please play taps!

Oh btw they showed an Aluminator engine at the end of the broadcast.

Could be worse Allen - they could be making Marauder clones for those cheapskates that don't wanna earn their way into the party. Oh - wait, ooops. Offended anyone?

Someone on here is putting a pick-up truck body on a marauder platform... I forgot who it was, but I would love to do a project like that!

I don't understand why people put all the marauder parts on a CV and wind up spend probably MORE doing that than just buying a marauder!!!

Well I'm sad to hear about any wrecked Marauder but at least the engine is being put to good use.

Hey! One of us should swap a 6'er out of a wrecked Ranger into a Marauder!
Hmmm, as stupid as that sounds, why doesn't Ford just slap the 300 hp Mustang V6 into the Panther line. It would basically be Marauder level performance with even better mileage.

Its all about personal attachments. They've been with their CV or GM so long they wouldn't bare to scrap it, but then they see a Marauder rolling or reading about one and want it. Then the obvious plan in their mind is to simply upgrade their own ride. Of course the more logical thing to do would be to just junk the old one for a marauder, but since when have humans stuck to logic?
