Holy crap, I got my assed handed to me on a silver platter and then he proceeded to carve me up for seconds & thirds and then spit me into the garbage...
Must be nice to spend $120K on a Mercedes...
Here are the specs, which I didn't know beforehand, otherwise I would've taken a quick left turn... Though I had an idea I was in trouble when I saw the V12 badge...
5.5L 36-valve V-12 engine
493 hp @ 5,000 rpm
590 lb-ft @ 1,800 - 3,500 rpm
0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds
MSRP: $121,205.00*

Well, if it's any consolation, the V12 Mercedes cars have a relatively poor resale value, due to the cost and complexity of repairs and maintenance.
If that doesn't work, you can always assume the driver has a *serious* overcompensation problem. :)
They're also a little dull in the styling department. :)
On a roll,

Logan, I think that guy needs to be introduced to mensrea KB special, that would be interesting, don't you think?

It'd be alot closer than I was, but would still most likely be a loss... The cars are relatively the same weight, but it has easily 50hp over the KB marauder...
that car has twin turbochargers on it. since you had the balls to get next to him, im proud for you. never back down take your win or loss like a man!

For $120k you could probably build a 1000+ hp Marauder. :)

My Marauder will have about 505 horse at the flywheel.... when we dynod a month ago we got 380 at the rear wheels... since then I had a couple of "special requests" for Kenny.... We will dyno it tomorrow and hopefully will be over 500!!! but holy crap batman, this guy has almost 600 ft lbs.... jeez
Drag strip on Sunday, going to be in the high 30s, so the track will suck... but I can't wait to see what we get.

nah...
just a good ole V12 with a lot of balls!

PS. the twin turbo version is what I believe they used in the LeMans prototype series cars until they started taking off the ground... too powerful for that carbon fiber machine, so I think they stopped racing them.

$120,000?? For that you could buy a Marauder and a Garage/Shop to keep it in

Is it time for a little vacation at Orlando Speedworld?? :)
Our racing season just got started, hehehehehehe........
Hey Logan,
I'm willing to bet it won't be long before you kick butt on that Mercedes.......
not to mention the MB has 4matic AWD. Well, at least it's a "Merc". I still think Daimler______ is rotten for taking our U.S. owned Chrysler Corporation (1925-1998) and making it a division based in Stuttgart (but they are trying to keep the peace with new Vipers and Hemis); business.
The Marauder is still pure American muscle unaffected by any take-over or even time and is built the way cars were intented to be built from day one.
However, if I had one of those MB S600 Twin Turbo AWD cars, I would re-program the engine to Maybach spec and add NOS to elliminate 99% of any turbo lag and add the harshest looking Pirelli snow tires available for a passenger car and us it as a winter beater (car has to be green) if you know what I mean.
I grew up equally in Europe (Greece) and in North America and I always enjoyed the moment a US car drove by in Europe; can't say the same for imports when in North America. Needless to say, The Marauder and Town Car is all that is left.
