View Full Version : How often do you let your woman or man drive?

I let my GF use it whenever she needs to, but she hardly ever asks for it. Maybe once a year. Also I let her drive when I'm unable to and we switch drivers seats on road trips.
Your guys?
EDIT: I was making a poll, but the computer messed it up. The options were going to be:
1. Never
2. Only when I can't drive
3. Sometimes
4. Often
5. It's our car
My vote would be number 3.
You?

I could care less if she drives it, but she hates the car and my car hates her more, so its pretty rare that she drives it.
Marauder, never, she says it's too big (freebie!)
Corvette, occasionally, but it has been under a tarp since she slammed it into a curb 8 months ago and twisted some parts.

Marauder...not yet...but that's because she is afraid of the loud exhaust and gets scared when I punch it.
She is a little interested in driving it, so I've got no problem letting her drive it when she's up to it.
Mustangs are 5 speeds....no go.
427 Cobra....never, she is deathly afraid of it!

She doesn't drive it much at all since she got her Freestyle back in 2006. I think that she rather take hers than be responsible for mine. ;)

She'll drive mine when she takes the keys from my cold dead fingers.

Does she say the same thing towards you about her Marauder?

We we have a few cars, I usually drive most of the time but if I am tired or not feeling like driving she will. Usually on road trips she will drive half, mainly because for some reason at night like in Jersey where there are barely any road lights on the highways I get very very tired so she will drive until we get into NY.
Other then that, she barely drives any of my cars/truck, she is open to do so if she wishes.

Are you kidding he probably stole that quote from her, lol.

She will only drive it when I have her blocked in, other than that she won't mess with it because it scares her (says the throttle is too touchy).

You both seen me driving her car in Kentucky. (That is because I cried like a little girl until she said I could)

I let my girlfriend when I bought the car drive it and she curbed it... she and I aren't together anymore! I would let my new girlfriend drive, but she is affraid because she knows it is one of my babies! I want to get her out on the motorcycle though.

She never drove either one a single time. I have offered but it is always a no from her. Says it is too big, too fast, and scares her. After her experience in my old Cougar she won't touch it because she damn near wrecked that car by flooring it because she wasn't ready for the torque of the 5.0. She likes her smaller Sports Sedans (drives a G35 4 door, trying to convince her to get an SHO next) and says my cars are always too touchy and get squirrely when she punches the gas.

But after the last incident Fran had with the Marauder and the State Police run in I do not think I ever have to worry about it again.
Granted Fran took the Marauder to work when I was going for the Federal Jury duty and I used the Taurus but as soon as I got home I recieved a phone call saying to come pick up the Mistress because Fran was tired of having to go out and move it away from the incomming parking cars.
Talk about being anal as far as getting a scratch on the Marauder.

I don't have a woman, but if I did, she would only be allowed to ride in the Stang, never drive it.

I have never daily driven my MM so my wife has never really had a need to use it. She could drive it if she wanted to, I wouldn't care as long as she promised to park it far away from people like I do, but she doesn't like driving it anyway.

It's just a car:dunno: A well insured one at that. There are many many more out there...My wife has been around around for 22 years and I don't have to dust her off everyday. She can drive the wheels off it if she choses.:P

I'm not spoken for. However, whenever I have to service my mother's Focus, She drives my MM. As for if my future other 1/2 will drive it, all in due time.

its our car, as the matter of fact she drives it to school 3 times a week.
she loves it and has taken it down the track too.
guess the car loves her too, because it never gives her problems. which im glad.
when i drive it, about once a week, i always find something that i have to do to it, or doesnt want to start. but i still love it
I offer driving privileges to Trish all time, but she declines all the time. I would never have any trouble letting her drive :D

Haha...my girlfriend takes the T in from Boston all the time.
I let her take my car whenever. She knows how to drive a stick, so I don't mind...too much. Hates my truck though.

My woman drives it sometimes. She really likes the power, but just doesnt like how long the car is. Also do to the fact she hit the wall in the garage and cracked the paint on the front bumper.

When I first got the car I let me daughter's mother drive the car...she wasnt trying to get into because it was just around the complex and G wasnt in her carseat. I recently let my female cousin and niece drive my car...I never knew how it felt to ride in the passenger seat, but let me tell you it was fun! :burnout:
