Idle is fine when in park or neutral (700ish). (Only when in drive) does it drop too far down. (550ish) which I think is a bit low? Completly stock.

When the lights are on, musics on, rolling windows down e.t.c at a stoplight I can tell its like the alternators just bearly throwing enough power to support all of that cause the rpms are low? Idk maybe im off?

Ive had my 03 for a few months now, its been like this since I got it. Never really bothered to address the issue as it has little to no affect on performance. Only noticable thing is that drive pull is really weak without any acceleration, obviously cause the RPMS are low.

I still have a warranty for about 30k more miles but my deductible is $100 so i'd like to avoid that if this is a cheap fix.

Troubleshoot? Ima newb :D

mine is the same way. too low if i may say. you could buy a sct tuner and bump it up that way.

I just know this is not normal because im on my second Marauder unfortunately...lol. First one was pretty consistant @ 700rpm in idle drive and park.

Dirty sensors. Clean the MAF and check the O2's.

Mine is around 550 at idle, I always felt it was low. I just got an SCT X3 and I'll be raising the idle by 100 rpm in drive to see if that's any better. Every other stock tune MM I had been in was the same.
