I found a brand new painted hood on ebay. They wanted $323, I offered $250 and they accepted. Problem is, they want $170 to ship it. I will pick it up instead. It's only a 4 hour drive to Humboldt, IL. This is finally replacing the defective factory paint job hood that has been bugging me since I bought the car 2 years ago. The other areas of the car have already been fixed. Why they didn't fix the hood is weird. I figure this is easier and cheaper than having the hood stripped and repainted. I also just replaced the fog lights, have 2 new headlights coming, just did a 4 wheel brake job, painted the wheel hubs black and undercoated it. Now all I need is to have the front bumper cover repainted and a few dings fixed. My wife isn't real happy about the money I've spent, but hey I did it all myself and the Marauder is worth it.
