Ya my Lincoln Mercury Mazda Jag dealership said that there will be some closings all over the place.

Ford wants to tieghten things up and the places that are not doing so well will be lost.

I purchased my Marauder at Sheridan new in Jan 2005. I received a letter last summer/fall letting me know they were closing. From what I read it sounded like that the owners also have a stake in Evans Ford.

Maybe the Sheridan plate frame I have in my garage will go up in value
now? :P

In Crystal Lake, Illinois where I live, we lost a Ford, Chrysler and a GM dealership in the last few years. But the local Toyota dealer built a brand new, super fancy building here. It MATTERS what kind of your you buy!

Very sad.

I found out yesterday, while visiting Evans Ford, that Sheridan closed down due to the owner passing away. The owners of both Evans and Sheridan were good friends so the family transferred some of their employees and there customer list to them.

I'll give you $10 for the license frame...
...That is a serious offer
