That one is basically the setup my Dad had when I was an adolescent. I went to the dragstrip with him every weekend, he worked as the flagman at the finish line, that was back in the days before the Christmas tree and timing lights. My introduction to hot rodding and drag racing. Musta been about 1968 or 70.

Still don't care for the altered look. I remember days at our local track, shut down in '78. Little justbob and justdad parked 10 feet away from the starting line, sitting on the hood of his caprice watching them gassers TEAR OFF down the track. No light there as I recall either.
