Just put the rear size tires on my front, does anyone know the correct alignment specs? Had mine done at NTSB they set camber to .9 on one side and 1 on the other. Near as I can figure it should by -.6 to be zeroed on the spec as I have it of -1.4 -- .2.
oops the current setting is -1 left and -.9 right. This is from the
book they have at NTSB for Marauders my main concern is going wider should/could cause more of a problem if not dead center?

I'll be watching this since I have considered going to the rear size all around. Did you have to do anything with your ABS, automatic rear levelers, or other specs because of the change in tire size?

Ross: Those of us running snows are all utilizing 16" rims and different (same4) size tires...the trick is that the run out circ*mfrance of all four tires is the same or at 1.0 to 1.05 and the ABS and antilock could care less.

Don't quote me on the specs, as I guess recalled my memory banks. I took a measuring tape (cloth type) and measured my snows and by god they have the exact run out. 7' on the fronts and 7'1" on the rears. I have no issues, others have no issues, and gathering from this, Joe should have no issues.

As far as Joes question...over my head man, I pass the torch on that one. My only advice is...don't let the numbnuts doing the alignment scratch the wheels!!!. Inspect the wheels with them in person first. Uhh, if that would be you....just be carefull :P

I think it's only the traction control that will freak out if the front/rear tire size relationship (tire height) is not respected.

Thanks for the answers so far folks, as I do not have traction control non-issue. So far have done nothing but have them mounted , aligned and drove like I stole it ! Could be my imagination but it seems to handle better. I am running about 28 psi in rears and 32 in front and having no problems at this time, only about 200 miles since the change.

Right from the manual: all are in degrees
Left camber -.7 +or- .75
Right camber -.7 +or- .75
Left caster 5.5 +or- .75
Right caster 5.5 +or- .75
Toe -.12 +or- .25 (- toe = toe out)

can also measure and compare the tire heights of the old and the original tires just as long as they're both on the wheels w/air in them, which would be easier than measuring the circumfrence or the "runout". As long as they're the same, then there shouldn't be a need for an alignment.
