I was so tired by the time we got there from all of the detail work I didn't even think of taking a picture of the Marauder other than the slight peak of it on the other side of the gold Corvett.
That Corvette looked like a dwarf being next to her and the guy even admitted it
To be honest I was mostly taking the pictures for the guys that put on the show their camera guy never showed up and they asked if I would be interested in doing it for them seeing I brought the Cannon.
But I didn't expect to get anything figured most of the members would recieve the awards.
So both my friend Dave with the Mustang next to me and my Marauder were in shock @ recieving an award figuring the older cars would be the winners.
Plus I am glad Jerry's Blue Malibu/Chevelle got one as well. He was upset he could not bring his 1969 Pontiac GTO instead but it is getting a new vinal top and is @ the shop right now.

Nope no other Marauder's @ all. I havn't been to a single show or cruise night in the state were there was another Marauder yet.
Plus only 1 of these guys had seen one up close and personal before mine. So needless to say she got a lot of attention from owners and spectators alike.
Dave with the Mustang love's my car but he hate's that she sounds 10 times meaner than his Mustang after dumping more than $8,000.00 into it and totaly drownds out his car.
That Blue Malibu was the one I had to straighten out after the speed shop he take's it to could not get her to run right.
They goofed and did a bad intake for the car for what it is used for and screwed up the high energy ignition system and could not get that Holly tuned in properly.
I did in a day what they could not do in a year.
Nice!
Love that split bumper Camaro.

I checked out the club website and noticed a few more pics posted there.
Funny, for as small a chunk of land that CT is it can be so hard to keep an eye an all the shows and "how far away" Darien, Westport, etc can seem from the center of the state! ;)
The Connecticut Cruise News website I found linked on the club website looks pretty handy though!
Congrats!

Newer cars winning at car shows must chap some people's asses huh? I know at a lot of cruise nights and car shows all the classic car drivers get a little upset when newer vehicles takes the taco.

The "1968 Mustang" in your second set of pics is labeled wrong I think, that front end can't be a '68.
Gotta say though the black Ford truck from the first set is AWESOME looking.

Yes it does burn some guys up having a newer car make the grade but @ the same time they do not mind when they see a guy who put's a bunch of money into the car to make it more than it is.
When I won last year in Bristol all the old timmers shook my hand and said I deserved it because they got to see the transformation from one month to the next from the headers to the color work on the engine and so forth.

Start looking for me come June, I don't get home until the end of May. Got to get to the Berlin Tpke thing again at least once this year as well. Maybe head over from the Bristol show.

It would be nice to have another Marauder show up for once to park next to. Although a guy with a 1950's Mercury like's to park some where near me so you may have to fight for the spot
I only go to shows and events where there is no cut off date if the Mistress is not welcome I don't suport them.
