This is getting really bad. It seems like exhaust fumes are going through the vents when I have my A/C on. I do have a minor exhaust leak, but it's never gotten in the car. When I have the temp off with no fan for anything the smell doesn't make it inside. Windows down it doesn't make it inside.
I'm going to change the collector gaskets, but I am not sure how the exhaust is making through the vents... or at least it seems this way.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Your exhaust tips look like they had been pushed forward a tad the last I saw. If they stop before the bumper, you could also be getting a smell from that, I had this happen on my S/10 Blazer. After giving up on finding a leak, I extended it another inch or two, this took care of it permanately. But yes, even a minor exhaust leak can reek havic in the cabin.

The car vents only suck through one spot under the hood. So if you know you have an exhaust leak that's your problem. I cant see it being anything else

If you know you have a leak why don't you get it fixed instead of whining about it here. :shake:
Gee... I have an oil leak and I keep finding a puddle of oil under my car.........:shake::shake:
LOL Im pretty sure you dont have flanges on your headers, thus no gaskets ya pinhead.

The whole reason I posted up is because I knew it was leaking by the collectors. The vents to the A/C is before the collectors, so I had no idea if this was related... still don't. How can a leaking header from the collector get into the air ducts?

Man, why all the exhaust issues lately?? My sysytem has been hacked a few times now, looks like azz, changed again, redone twice more, yada yada. Not a single smell??
Dom, don't you have ball collectors on that car??? There is no gaskets. Only gaskets you might still have is inbetween your converters and mufflers, and your header gaskets.
Dom do you have a "ticking" noise???
