I know this might be a crazy question ..but this is something i just notice since my last oil changed. My Marauder seems to be just sucking down gas rather quickly now. It runs fine and i haven't had any problems with it at all since I bought it like 3 years ago..I change the oil with the motorcraft and the air filter also with all the correct stuff ..i just have no clues as to why its doing this now ..I think i get about 250 miles out of a full tank now .any suggestions ?

I'm experiencing them same thing--could it have something to do with the transition from winter to summer formulas ???????

Okay, first let me prefice this by saying I know very little about cars. But My 03 Vic LX was doing the same thing. The Hood was riding a little high and almost looked like it was going ot pop up at higher speeds. Adjusted the hood for a smoother fit, and my gas mileage went back up

Seafoam your upper intake to remove all the oil that's in there, remove and clean the throttle body and MAF, afterward give it a full tune up (plugs, fuel filter, PVC valve, etc.)

+1 Seafoam
You will want to change your oil and filter after it's done, especially if it hasn't been done before and you don't normally use WOT much.
O2 sensor provides voltage to ECU for lean/rich adjustment by ECU,
need scan tool to see it working. It can work crappy and not set a code.

So the lack of 02's and or MIL's will cause this also? I'm still waiting on MIL's and yes my Gas sux 2

If the car is maintained the o2's can last a long time no doubt but as a rule of thumb I like the idea of changing them out every 4 years on most cars.
They do build up some crudd on them that can hinder proper readings and cause the car to run a bit richer as time passes by.
If you hadn't said you already changed the air filter it would have been my first sugestion though.
Walker make's proper direct fit o2 sensors for a decent price and list individual before and after cat sensors.
