This car is at my house, here is my ad.
Its not mine, selling for a friend.
Please tell me if the price is out of line (I think it is)
The owner had me list it at this price.

That car is rough! It does have the wrong front end as the bumper should be chrome. The price is to high but you never know. Its easier to drop the price than raise it! Good luck on the sale!

Wow. Rough shape is right. It's a shame a car like that ends up like that.

Wonder why the 73 front end? Wrecked, perhaps? How's the frame look.

Having totally stripped/gutted/re-built inside and out my '77, I feel qualified to say, that car is done. No offense to the owner, but it will cost almost as much to make it a safe, decent daily driver than the price he is asking. I'd give maybe 1,000. And then I'd pull the engine, tranny, rear ends, lights if they work, back bumpers, rims, and scrap the body. Too much rust, and the interior is shot. :(

FWIW, mine sat outside for 4 years under the cover of nothing. Owner got a DUI, car got parked and it sat. And sat. And sat. And he got drunk and I offered him 2 grand in cash and he took it.

I'd rather see them restored than crushed, good luck on the sale. If I find anyone interested I'll let you know.

lucky you CBT, i think it is a litle over priced.
we have to keep in mind that its fixable, with the right dedicated owner to restore it and if it is #'s matchng it could be worth decent $$$.
just my 2 sense.
good luck with the sale.

Might want to see if D&M Corvette in Downers Grove, IL has any interest or customers of interest. They have been known to find vehicles of this caliber for wanting customers. Hope this helps.

I've been involved in 70,72,73,76 year Corvettes and I agree with the above quote. Without going into great detail it's only a parts car in my opinion.

Everyone shares the same opinion as myself, thanks!
