03 RAUDER OVERHEATING WHILE IDLEING CHANGED T-STAT STILL THE SAME PROBLEM FAN COMES ON BUT STILL GETS TO HOT ANY HELP THANKS ERIC:mad2:

You have to get the air bubbles out of the cooling system.

Leave the over flow cap off and slightly lossen the fill point on the cross over tube then let the car run until the thermostate opens up. Fill it the rest of the way via the cross over tube until the fluid starts to rise to the filll line on the over flow tank.

Seal the system back up and if all went well you should be good to go. any air bubles in the system can cause and over heating problem unfortunatly.

You in IL? I'm assuming it overheated prior to doing any work. Perhaps the coolant sensor is causing the fan to turn on a little late. How is the condition of the radiator? Ever had a flush? Many variables here, but luckily one of the easiest symptoms to chase down and fix.

I think I"ll get a lower temp t-stat and try again

That most likely won't help.

The system needs to be inspected and burped.

+1 ..burped many "Backyard" mechanics always forget this step.
