So I had a squeaky window, I took took the panel off and sprayed silicone on the window track. Worked great, no more sqeak.

Having a real ***** of a time getting the panel back on, theres like 7 different latching points that have to be lined up just right simultaneously and its a pretty blind activity, cant really see whats going on behind the panel, its like guess and check.

Anyone got a trick to do this?

Would be much appreciated :o

One thing that may help is to snap the door handle out of the door panel, then snap it back in after the door panel is installed.

My experience has been that if you concentrate on getting the lock button to line up with the little bitty hole, the rest kind of falls into place.

The only things you need to line up are the bottom catches and the door lock knob.

I concentrate on the bottom latches then worry about the lock knob.

okay i think i got it back on....

all the plastic latches, the one middle metal latch, and the door lock button are all securely in place but i cant get the one part to line up, not even close. i think its bent or something... its a metal threading that you can see when the window/lock control housing is removed. (area around the thread is painted red for some reason?) other than that i think its okay. gonna put all the screws back on and hope my door doesent fall off :D

You have to hang the door panel at the top of the door first before doing anything else.
