I really wanna put my electric cutouts on, but upon looking under the car... where are they going to go? I want them bewteen the headers and cats, but the only way I see them fitting is by removing the cats.

Do I have to have the cats removed? Can this fit as is and have the shop move the cats back? Even then I don't see them fitting.

Should I just remove the cats?

I know I would lose back pressure, but I'm just really on the fence about this one.

:help:

Dom-remove the cats and put the cut-outs right after the headers. Then put some Hi-flow Dynomax perfomance cats (I ordered them from Jegs) on after them. Might want to go to an exhaust shop to do it. Zack gave me a place in Lynwood that does it and they did mine. They did an excellent job and I will get you the phone # if you need it.

The wiring is the easy part. Their are gromments right under the carpeting by the front seats and you run the wires through them. I put the switch in my console where it fits perfectly by the accesory plug and ran the wires through the console to the fuse box. I am sure you could probably tie it in somewhere where they feed the gauges but I wired it direct to the fuse box.

This has to be one of the funnest mods I did to my car and people do stop/stare when I open and close them. I think you were at the car show last year when I was showing people.

Did you repair the problems with your Marauder you already have yet before you do something new to diagnos newer problems from a newer mod?

Sorry but dude 1 thing at a time and set the priority's!

I put my converters back to stock.

The cutouts that I have seen have been immediately after the headers and then the converters mounted right after the C.O.'s This is not a big deal for a shop in any way. I would expect to pay around $60-$80 total at the shop I use, basing that price off of a handfull of work they have done for me in the past.

Really? Wonder what they would charge me? Bob can you do the wiring with me? We can talk about labor costs.

The wiring is easy peasy. I have given them plenty of work and that is why they might, just might, install items that they don't sell for me. They originaly told me no deal, because they sell name brand mufflers and make their own pipe. They are also what I consider not a really high quality shop...
