Anyone familiar with this unit? Pretty tempting price. Looks sweet and does everything. Not sure about the quality though. I don't exactly trust Chinese electronics.

I'd trust it. Did you skim thru all the feedback? He has sold MANY of them and everyone seems happy. One guy said the GPS didn't work and he replied that he would like to give him a full refund.

Take a look on amazon car electronics. I saw lots of good stuff like that from $180 - $240

From past experience I'd be leery of getting something that expensive from overseas. But that's just me...... Too many bad experiences......
What if it breaks? Who's going to fix it for you? Even if it's under warranty you'll most likely have to send it overseas $$$$$.....
Search eBay for an avic-d2 or avic-d3.
Contact Pops.

Looking at the one start up screen it's the same company I bought my GPS from. The only issue I ever had was that it didn't come with a manual, but they sent me one in soft copy and I've had it for over six months and it does everything a more expensive GPS does and I got it for less than 50 bucks.

Never heard of that brand, if it has a brand. I would stay away from it. When it comes to touch screens, its better to stay with a brand name with good reviews, overseas stuff like that, well I have bought overseas not branded stuff before, not the best.

I wouldn't be happy if this off brand shorted out and burned up the car with no one to go after for the damage that is for sure.

Regular brands are dropping prices left and right, and getting much better. I suggest as well as getting one with a detachable face, best thing.

I actually have alot of experience with no name Chinese cheepo brand radios. Be sure to check through all the features THOROUGHLY! Don't assume anything. If there's no mention of a clock, there's no clock. If there's no mention of a cd slot there's no cd slot. If it does have a clock, is it 12 hour or 24 hour?(military time) Send the seller a message asking questions if you have to. Some of them have all the advanced features you could ever want but are missing the basics such as track memory, which means every time youy turn off the radio, it starts the cd over at track 1. Not all no name brand stuff is bad, but you need to sift through the garbage to find the good ones.
For @ $300.00 you could find a name brand GPS unit. I can only imagine how much of a hassle it would be to have a warranty repair done. If you must have a in-dash GPS send a pm to Pops(a supporting vendor that sells audio equipment). I'm sure he could help you find what your looking for. I would save my money and get a name brand

No way dude dont do it, Stick with something you know about like kenwood or pioneer but if you are trying not to spend that much money u can go with jensen or jbl.
