I know they sell the crap out of that stuff. I wonder if it really works.

Yes this stuff actually works. The car runs a whole lot more powerful. It has also improved gas mileage, throttle response, and smoothes idling.

What all did you do to it with the seafoam?

Need to bring it up to 2-2.5k rpms for a few mins or take it for a drive to really get the carbon out.

How does seafoam rank against other engine and fuel formulas? Like RESTORE engine treatment, zmax, prolong or how about fuel formulas such as Lucas, Techron, redline synthetic fuel system cleaner ? All are popular and most claim or seem to have more advanced features or ingredients but is the seafoam simply the tried and provened way?

Can seafom work for supercharged marauders?

We pour through the vacuum line off the booster right? When I pull the line off my PVC it kills the engine instantly.

Yeah you can pour it through the break booster vacuum line. But i used the line from the pcv..when u disconnect the line from the pcv, immediately cover the end of the line with your thumb..the engine will continue to run..remove thumb from end of the line slowly leaving only half of the vacuum line open then slowly pour seafoam in. the engine will stall, shake, rattle as is you are trying to kill it. lol. but this is normal.

i have notice very nice performance gains from doing this seafoam treatment..my custom dyno tune have really came alive lol..

You poor it in through the brake booster with the engine at idle 1/3 pint.
you won't notice any big difference in performance or response, but it is good to do on a lower mileage motor. On a higher mileage motor the carbon can actually be a good thing, increasing compression and keeping everything sealed. In some cases you really don't want to blow all that out.

When you're revving all the seafoam out, you've got to get the R's up and keep them there to blow all that crud out. A good way to do it is to rev it in idle for a while, then take it for a drive on the freeway. When you get off the freeway, I like to manually downshift to help blow some more of that crap out.

You actually pour it into the hose that goes to the brake booster, taking it off the booster side, you should have some vacuum there. You may also have to rev the engine a little higher to compensate for the massive vacuum leak.
