...on a wet road.
Still won't chirp on dry pavement, but today I got it to do a little spin with a slight sideways jaunt with the traction control ON during a 1-2 shift.
Then my boss did it too when I picked him up from a service drop off for his ride. Heh.
I have re-learned how to drive her about 90% at this point. Need a few more corners and a few more traffic free runs and I will have it down. Got love this DR Stage I!

When you get 10k miles you will spin them everytime. When the temp is below 70* you chirp 1-2 shift every time.:D

LOL! Funny you mentioned that... Mine did the same thing last night on a 1-2shift while in D. The road was a bit wet though. I can ALWAYS chirp 'em with a manual 1-2shift though... That was just the begining of last night... The night ended with a smoky burnout in front of a Bentley/Maserati dealership. Don't ask...

That 1-2 shift twisted them again from a stop at about 2/3rds of the way around a right hand turn on dry pavement.
Not in a straight line yet but I am told anywhere from 5K to 10K this thing is going to open up.

I am at 6k and she feels like it is opening up more but has always chirped 2nd with the manual shift and sometimes without?

I haven't done the manual shift thing. My instinct tells me that would be "a bad thing" but, in fact, I really don't know that.

I got my car from my father with 12k miles, and I can always spin mine with the 1-2 shift on damp pavement (bone stock car). I can sometimes get it to spin on the 2-3 shift on damp pavement too. I'm trying to get it to chirp while on dry pavement, but the majority of roads by me are not smooth. Also, what's the proper technique to do a burnout?

Take the MM with the DR Stage One to the strip (I took mine to Kansas City International Raceway)and run bracket. I run 14.7 or slightly over every time. Red lighted for 2nd but took home the 3rd place trophy my first time on the track. Sent numerous Cobra's ETC. Home!!! My time could have benn slightly better except in bracket racing you need consistency...... henc the traction control button. With an auto trans. and trac control.... you will bring home the bracket metal every time!!!!!
