Front seatbelts

I need a set of front seatbelts, preferably from a Charcoal interior. Must be unlocked, seatbelts moving freely, etc.

I am getting tired of getting in the car and having 3 feet of slack from mine.

I actually thought once they get locked, they are locked for good?

if they are locked the have have to be replaced i have never seen anyone fix them

Yea that is what I have been seeing from the research I am been pulling up.

According to the body shop repair manual it says replace only on the Ford cars in our year range. In 2000 Mercury's and earlier there was a recall on them.

In the newer 2006 and up there is a sensor that can cause this problem but our cars do not have it.

So I guess your stuck with replacing it unfortunatly.

I believe those have a 7 year 100,000 mile warranty thanks to uncle sam just like an emissions warranty.
