I believe that I have broken a record. I just had to replace my front pads and rotors. I had 161,000 miles on the original pads. Had the front rotors turned once at 72,000.

I noticed right front coil spring is broken. Would you guys recommend the OE spring and shock replacements.

To save money get Eibach Springs, & KYB shocks at auto zone and also they come with lifetime warranty

I bought some Eibachs and wound up selling them before putting them on the car. Many people are not a fan of them and I feared I wouldn't be a fan either. I would stick with the stockers and if you want a lower ride height, cut a full coil out of the OEM's before install.

I bought those Eibachs from TJ and installed them. If I was going to track the car, they would stay in, but I am not tracking yet. As such, I am going to cut a coil and out the stock springs back in. Same look that I want, but am told will not affect the ride to much.

Either stock or Moog but remember @ first the car's ride hight will look off to you until they settle in so do not freek out @ first after it is done give it time to settle back into more of a hight you are use to.

As time goes on the hight lowers a bit and we do not notice it so when it is back to a normal hight people tend to freek out thinking this was a bad idea or the wrong part was used.

Please dont give out advice anymore, it not good.

OP, Either get Factory replacements or go to www.car-part.com and fins some low mileage assemblies. You can bolt them right in and call it a day, for cheap.

Exactly... I heard people saying to go this route and then others chimed in saying it was a horrible route, so I sold the Eibachs and kept mine stock.

Apparently it's possible, my car had about 95-96k miles when I took it in for brake inspection, they said my pads had about 85% life still on them. Even if I give the benefit of the doubt in guessing the pads were put on new right before I bought the car, that's still 15% wear across 40k miles. Seeing how much more I abused them before now versus how much I try to take it easy on it now, I expect these things to last me forever.

If your using your car as a DD I'd stick with the OEM's. If you want a lower front stance cut a coil. If your are racing the car(autocross) take it to a suspension shop and they'll help fix you up with a racing package that fits your driving style.

Judging by the fact that you got so much out of your OE brakes, I'd say let sleeping dogs lie and replace them with OE stuff.

My brother does the work on my car and he said I needed the rear replaced.

The fronts still had pad left. One thing I don't do is speed up to a RED light.
