I noticed that alot of you have your mods listed under your name and I would like to know what is the purpose of an X-Pipe and how much does it usually run??

X-pipe evens out the escape gas (exhaust) pressure from both sides. Usually runs about 145 miles an hour.

If you plan on keeping the stock exhaust manifolds it will need to be custom, or get one for a 99~04 mustang and chop it up. There alot of examples of how to's in the search area

So there can be a X-Pipe built from the stock pipes already there but more like cut and paste??

The stock MM down pipes start at 2-1/2" then go down to 1-7/8". The whole point of doing this is to get rid of the restriction. An X/H pipe will be 2-1/2" start to finish. So I would advise you not to try to reuse the stock section. From the mufflers back the pipes are 2-1/4" so it's fine

So the muffler on down would have to be another set of pipes??

NO! You missed my point... Its the mufflers forward. The mufflers back will be fine.
