I think the date depends on the majority. I am thinking mid to late june perhaps early july. Does anyone have a preference on which day - Saturday or Sunday? Also, most of us are going to be coming from the East Bay, Central Valley, SF anyone have any ideas as to a meeting spot and route?

Yep, I wish I could be there, too. I love that area. My old roommate from college lives in Santa Cruz, so I visit there fairly often. Lots of great places to drive/ride, and it's not so damned hot there as it is here!

Checked Santa Cruz web site and theree are no scheduled events on the wharf June 19 or the 26th.

so propose that we meet on the SC wharf end where there is lot's of parking spaces!

From there plenty of eating & shopping establishments.

Chime in with your opinions and recommendations.

I can not make it on the 19. I MAY be able to make it on the 26th. It sounds like fun. As for 80 mph over HWY 17, I would ask why so slow?! O yeah, these boats don't like turns to well!

The 26th allows me to finish a couple of more things on the car as well. Remove Eibachs and install cut front springs. Install tune. New rear tires ... They tend to wear out fast!

My leave dates didnt mach well with the 13th so that was good you guys are thinking 26th, im ok with that, but as of right now things are starting to get busy out here, and had to hold off on my leave for a couple of days, but if i do come home it wont be for but a week or so. If i can make it i will let you guys know, and the 26th sounds good for me. again i will let you know

I may or may not have the Marauder ready in time; if not I will be cruising in the Mustang. I just got off the phone with the machine shop heads are done. But will be cutting it close with only a week to go.

I can make the 26th, is that the date? Also my A?C comperssor is siezed and I dought I will have it repaired by then so I will have to put a loop hole in there as I do not like driving it long distances in that condition.

Well bad news, not going to make it, and it looks like im going to be stuck in country for about 2 more months before i get to take some leave. Sorry about this but i will be around and in town some time in Sept. At least i get some more work done on the ride, so hay!...the grass is greener...

You know, we can do this in the Fall as well as the Summer. The weather there is usually great up til November.

Check out www.canepa.com, they have a museum in Scotts Valley and it's FREE. It would also be a great place to meet together and caravan into town.

Sweet! I gotta bring my kids too that's the beauty of the Marauder kids love it! My daughter gets noxious in the stang on long trips. Rod throw out some dates in late august or early September. Hopfully the beast will be back together bye then.

Not mods,'vehicle enhancements. Brakes are wearing out @37k miles, so I need to ensure that my family is safe in the car. Tires are behond wear marker and finding the stock size is difficult so adequate research had to be done to find the appropriate tire considering size and the factory speed rating.

This is my story and I am sticking to it.
