Man What a bad day :mad2:My MM got broken into last night & attempted auto theft.
The door lock was busted out with a small dent & some blood on it and then the ignition switch was busted off . The :censor: PUNKS ransacked the car stealing my camera & tried to get in the trunk by prying the back seat open & messing up the trunk lock. :mad2:I made the necessary reports after a 10 min fit :bigcry:
& I will have the pic's posted in a few hours.
Man :censor: PUNKS cant leave anything alone nowadays. :mad2:

That sucks man.... :bigcry::bigcry:
At least they didn't do too much damage.
What did they think was in the trunk? Spare tire, jack, pot-o-gold??
A**holes didn't know they could have just pushed the trunk release button once in the car..... :shake::shake::shake:

A**holes didn't know they could have just pushed the trunk release button once in the car..... :shake::shake::shake:I had the trunk release button locked with the key & appears there's no other damage,With a temped car theft I don t pay my deductible. But I have to wait 7 to 10 days for the clam to process.:mad2:

Gord,
That really sucks, man! I'm sorry to hear that your Marauder was vandalized. You didn't bring it out of storage not too long ago, did you? We live in such a rat hole of a city when comes to car thieves. I wish vigilante justice was legal.:mad2: I hope MPI doesn't screw you over in terms of repairs. If you don't have an autobody shop picked out yet, my Marauder only gets serviced at Parkside Ford. They did a great job fixing my car a couple of years ago.

Hi Mike
I have an MPIC appointment tomorrow at 4 ,The body shop it will go to is Coydon Motors.I dealt with them before they are good too.
I got home at midnight testing the new B&M Shift kit install & it must have happened after that time. :censor:
Thanks for the support

Our government needs to really do something about underage thieves. What they're doing now is not working. These bloody kids around here. They probably thought the Marauder is like the CVPI, no PATS in key. Unfortunately for them our cars have it. Idiots.
Sorry, that sucks a least you still have the car and they only caused minimal damage should be no biggie to fix. Time to get a alarm system, it will either scare them off or give you notice to grab the shotgun and head out the door:uzi:.

That's nothing dude. I guess when you have a car stolen anything else seems minor... sorry to hear and see this. The real pain is going to be the insurance company. If your deductible is $300 they might give you $1500 by the looks of it to fix that. Good luck.

Yeah they had to be rookies since a pro would know Ford uses chipped keys on everything besides their Super Duty trucks.

I would have been mad if I saw the damage, but I would have fell over laughing when I saw the popped ignition. Knowing they failed to steal my car and I still have it.

Rookies all right...They tried to seal it like it was a Chevy Caprice or Impala SS...

I would have been mad if I saw the damage, but I would have fell over laughing when I saw the popped ignition. Knowing they failed to steal my car and I still have it.Also looks like they got injured with the blood on the door .I don't know why it was so important to try break in to the trunk but they failed at that too cus I had the trunk button key locked & they tried through the back seat was also a fail.
With the insurance in my city if only the door lock was busted I would have to pay the $200 deductible. With the ignition switch busted I don't pay the deductible,But it's still a 10 day wait .
I wonder if there is a way to cover up the key lock with a metal plate or maybe use apoxie because I never use the key just the remote.
Thanks for the comments

Latest update
The MM went to the Auto Pac Compound on Friday dusted for prints then towed on a flatbed truck to the body shop I chose .It was faster then I thought And they said it was a 5 day wait. http://www.motorcitymarauders.com/forums/images/smilies/hail.gif
The repair estimate was $1,340.00 and I will go down to the shop on Monday to go over the car before the work starts. In the mean time Auto Pac covers me for a rental car for now because it could take a least a week when it's done.
