Can anybody tell me if they have noticed improved gas mileage by cutting of the second set of cats?

You won't get any gas benefits by cutting cats off, nor HP, just more sound!

Cut mine out, barely any louder -.- don't regret doing it though.

^^^ Maybe you need to get a DOHC to get more power so it will make a diffrence...

yeh removing the second set of cats made a huge difference in volume and tonality.

Removing the first set made it ridiculous...

Allow me to clarify:

When I say tonality, I mean without the baffling effect of the cats, the overlap sound of the V8 timing is a LOT more defined.
