Every friday and saturday night we meet up and talk and do some racing. Well we went to a spot at 2am and were racing. I was watching the ricers run and got tired of it. I can stand tuners!:puke:...Well 2 Mustang GTs ran, a black 03 and I think it was like a late 90's purple GT. So that got me wanting to run. The purple GT called me out so we line up...I got the rpms to about 1800rpms got him of the line, then he starts to walk me pulls right next to me, then i shifted 3rd and pulled away, 1st kill of the nite...My boy with a Maxima dont know the year maybe 01 idk wants run too, I say line up and we get ready...3 beeps and go, MAN HE KICKED MY ASH, and I didnt even waste my time to finish...I called him and said "I know why you beat me so bad run me again, I know what I did wrong. I didnt stall it at the line"...line up , stalled it bout 1800rpms again,:flamer: I took him off the line, pulled away from him and towards the end I let off because I had him by atleast a car and was gona keep pulling away then he passes me as i cruise to the end. 2/3 on the night not bad...At the end we stopped at a red light a talked and he said now thats a race, thats a race.lol

The Aeros don't have packing in them so there is nothing to break-in on them.

my brother took the car in on monday and on the way home from broklyn/glen burnie he said it got louder as he drove and when i first heard it, it was just a real deep tone and now through the week its even louder and has the aero tone now! no cats cut.

For the guys who like to race on the street, please be careful. Police departments are stat driven. Meaning the will make their "quotes" on you...But nice kill Breeze....

if they didnt need to be broken in, then off break why wouldnt they sound how they sound now when they were first put on!!!...

My very unscientific opinion is basic heat expansion in the mufflers. I'm pretty positive my muffler is some sort of straight-through, cause it doesn't resonate within itself like a chambered muffler, and if I floor it for a long enough time or end up riding down at high RPM for a long enough time they get to be much louder, but when they sit for a while they get back their normal tone.

There could be tons of other factors but their is no packing inside of them so they mufflers will not change their tone, it's either something else with your car or just your ear. I've had Aeros on for about a year and a half now, they sound the same now as they did way back then.

when i first got them i let my friend hear and drive it, then just a day or 2 ago he heard and drove it again and said they sond better and deeper, so its not me, my car is alil different from everyone elses as you know.

I tend to believe that when it comes to street racing, they are more piblic safety driven. Know the risks before you partake. You will loose your license, many communities will seize your car, and you have a good shot at jail time if they catch you. If you wreck, you can be certian of the time in the house. If you have a job requiring any type of clearance, you'll loose it. I'm not condoning it, nor denying I do it, but just be aware, and don't fault the po-po for doing their job.

i HATE when people do exactly what you describe! i wish those people could be black flagged from the 911 dispatcher so when they really need the "stupid cops" they wont have to deal with them.
