Black (?) in Downers Grove, IL

I was heading south on Fairview Ave and I saw what I thought to be a black MM coming to a stop heading east on Maple Ave (being around 9pm, it was rather dark and I wasn't sure of the color other than it wasn't an SB). I made a feeble attempt to grab their attention (flashed my lights, revved up a bit). Was that anyone here?

That was probably me. I live in Downers Grove I think we passed each other at 75th and Lemont last month. I recognized your plate.

I was in Downers Grove on Fairview/Ogden twice last week as well, not around 9PM though.
