Well, it took 57,204 miles and 13 1/2 months before Ol' Black's luck ran out about 1PM. The bad news is Ol' Black got rear-ended today a red light while the wife was coming back from a milk run. The good news is nobody got hurt and I wasn't there to discuss the situation with the other driver :mad2: . :uzi: Preliminary estimate about $3400.

Very sorry to hear this, Mongoose. And from someone that understands about this first-hand...find a good shop and you'll be back...good as new or better.

Glad to hear nobody was hurt...which is the most important thing.

Whoa, goose. Bad news.

But cheer up, you may now be eligible for the new-and-improved Trilogy rear facia!

Your wife is ok; that's the ONLY thing that really matters. Insurance will get you back on the road soon, I hope.

Nearly joined the club myself tonight!

Things like this are why I tend to drive paranoid these days...:depress:

Ol' Black is back on the road again. Dealer did a fine job except for putting a GM badge on the trunk deck  . He'll have it replaced next week. Maybe it is time to go badgeless?

A 17 year old cousin of mine was killed last friday in a relatively minor traffic accident involving a Ford Explorer and a Chevy Cavalier which offered no protection at all! Glad your wife is OK and glad she was driving a sturdy vechicle that offered her some protection. Best wishes and Blessings to you! Mike
